CIRCLE ALLIES
Are you ready to be inspired?
Are you willing to be transformed?
You think you're coming to help, but as you open your heart some of your assumptions start falling away and you see that "inspiring change" goes both ways.
Circle Ally
MORE THAN NUMBERS
The latest estimates indicate that more than 3,800 of our neighbors in Harvey County, Kansas are in poverty. At least twice that many live day to day or paycheck to paycheck without the resources or safety net to handle the smallest crisis. In the Newton School District, 56.8% of all students qualified for the free/reduced lunch program in 2012-13. These are kids who have no say in the matter.
Statistics are staggering, even numbing, but we cannot afford to look away. These numbers have faces and names and stories to tell. Circles of Hope offers a way to form new relationships and start making a real and lasting difference in our community, one family at a time.
Are you ready to start changing the world?
