Each Tuesday evening is a Circles of Hope gathering at the First United Methodist Church at 8th & N. Main in Newton.
Circles of Hope creates relationships that inspire and change lives.
The Getting Ahead class is the first step in the Circles of Hope model.
The Circles initiative matches persons of low resources with several allies from the community.
We could not offer hospitality at Circles of Hope without the great meals provided entirely by volunteers.
These fabulous kids from nearby Chisolm Middle School helped plan, cook and serve a meal at one of our Circles meetings.
With 59% of children in Newton schools receiving free or reduced lunches, our Summer Food Program fills an important need.
In addition to offering free breakfast and lunch to all Newton children ages 1-18, the program also provides activities.
Everyone is invited to come in and get creative by making sustainable peace-themed greeting cards.
The cranes were made by kids, just one of many ways we've involved young people in building peace.
You're welcome to shop in our Newton gift shop or purchase inspirational gifts in our online Peace Shop.

Watch the new public service announcement for Circles of Hope!
Wichita State University Student, Trevor Macy, who also happens to be the grandson of Circles of Hope supporters, Bill & Glenda Reynolds, chose the initiative for a class assignment to produce a 30-second public service announcement. Thank you, Trevor!
